FORZA HORIZON 2 SKIN
You just can't copy a whole car skin at once anymore you have to make it yourself. Community cars' paint and vinyl jobs do not show up when you buy a car, although there is a 'community' section of decals in the garage later. You can't compete against friends' speed traps or other scores either, even though one of the achievements is for beating like 20 of your friends speed trap times. Your friends drivatars do not show their rank or any of the cars they own, it's always just a random car and a default car skin. Just to let people know if they haven't played it, but there are already a lot of online features in Horizon 2 that don't work (I'm guessing they just stopped supporting the game). But if renewing licenses was that easy, I'm sure Turn 10/Playground would have done it. Why can't Turn 10 renew the license? There could be many reasons cost, time, effort (there are probably tonnes of licenses in the game), etc.
FORZA HORIZON 2 LICENSE
Turn 10 cannot sell the game or the DLC on the Xbox Store after the license expires, so if you're reading this after Sept 30 and want a copy, your best bet is a physical copy or a prepaid code. Forza Horizon 2 is currently available as part of August Games With Gold so, if you haven’t played it already, now is a great time to grab it.Įdit: The reason the game is being taken off the store is because the licensing for the cars, music and branding in the game is expiring on September 30. However, Forza Horizon 2 and its DLC will no longer be for sale. After September 30, players who own Forza Horizon 2 will still able to download and play the game and its associated content as normal. That means that the game and its associated DLC will no longer be available for purchase.
